Semplice editor no longer loads in my "Pages"

Hi! I've been editing my wordpress pages with Semplice content editor tab, but as of today, when I click on a page, for example "About" or "Experience" the Semplice editor no longer shows up. Instead, I get the standard wordpress html editor.

How do I get Semplice back?

Lucky thing is when I click within my "Portfolio" pages I still get the Semplice editor.

Do you happen to have Gutenberg activated now in the Plugins area of Wordpress? Wordpress just started shipping this plugin today for updated WP users and we’ve had reports that it’s caused similar issues. We recommend disabling it to avoid issues with Semplice 3.

Hi,

I'm experiencing the same problem, but I do not have Gutenberg activated. Any idea how I can edit my pages with the Semplice template and not the Word Press standard?

Hi Laura,

I'll update this for Jon so he doesn't have to. The solution he came up with was to install a plugin called Classic Editor since WordPress had been updated (we need to go back to the older version).

That did the trick!

I'm having the same problem... It happened to me before, I installed plugin Classic Editor and it worked. But now the problem is back. Any idea of how to fix it?
