Changing Font Set Creates Mobile Spacing Bug

Alex May 10, 2017 05:03PM CEST

I recently created a new custom type set for my website because I'm updating a headline font. I was previously using a typekit hosted font and switched to self host. As I was working on updating type styles last night I noticed that the introduction text on the page had very odd spacing on mobile that was not reflected in the padding. After poking around a while trying to figure out the issue I discovered that updating the type set alone without even updating styles would cause it to do this. I'm wondering how to fix this as it is clearly a bug and none of the things I seemed to do worked. After removing all of the padding on both the text groups and individual blocks the padding went away entirely, but if I add even 10px padding it causes it to do this.

What is should look like:

Is there anyone that has had a similar issue that might be able to offer up a solution?

Hi Alex,

Are you using any custom JavaScript on your site?

If not, try this:

Paste the code in this link under Semplice > Advanced Styling > Custom CSS & JS > Custom JavaScript.

Clear your browser cache and test again.

Hey Amanda, thanks for the quick reply. I gave it a shot but it had no effect.

I have it set to private, but I just emailed a link to the test page.
