Headline Size & Button Text

Kjell Wierig May 04, 2017 11:25AM CEST

Hey Semplice-Team. Just working on my cover-slider and getting in detail with Headline-Style and Project-Button.

For the Headline-Style, i am asking what can i do to scale up the main stage and project-headlines, especially for mobile? In my opinion, it looks quite small. Do i have to get in code or do you have any more easier solutions because coding isnt really one of my skills.

For the Project-Button, i dont find a result how to change the "view work" font-style. I read different articles in forum and also put css-code in advanced settings without the result i wanna have: main headlines are styled with "Bodoni-URW", Copy, Navigation and Buttons should be styled in "brandon grotesque". Both Font-Families are integrated with Typekit.

Custom CSS:

.view-project a {
background: 0 0;
font-family: brandon-grotesque
font-weight: custom one;
font-size: 13px;
letter-spacing: 2px;
text-transform: uppercase;
padding: 4px 30px;
border-radius: 1px;
color: #fff;
text-align: center;
display: inline-block;
}

Would be perfect to get some help.

Best Kjell

Headline-Sizes are working right now. Project-Button issue isnt solved right now, help would be great :)

Also i want to activate the scroll-down arrow, which is activated in Backend but not live in my Stage. The Introduction is styled like a project with text and the scroll-down arrow. But what i see, is no arrow and a hover "view work" which i dont get my problem.

Hi Kjell,

This should be the correct CSS for the button:

.view-project a {
font-family: "brandon-grotesque", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif !important;
font-size: 13px;
letter-spacing: 2px;
text-transform: uppercase;
padding: 4px 30px;
border-radius: 1px;
color: #fff;
text-align: center;
}

But it seems Brandon Grotesque isn’t working on your page.

I see this arrow on your page: https://cl.ly/1C1y3Y322L0a is that what you’re talking about?

Best,
Amanda

Hi Amanda,

i was doing the same thing as Kjell here...so far everything works but i kind of need different "letter-spacing & font.size" for different pages. (on semplice3)

Is it possible to define different values for different pages?

Thanks so much!

Hey Dawe!

Unfortunately, there’s not a way to target particular pages with custom CSS in Semplice 3. We have a way to do this in Semplice 4, but not Semplice 3.

You are of course welcome to try a plugin like this one, however I can’t guarantee it will work with S3 but it’s worth a shot I think:

Jon
